Itchy scalp, Dandruff

2 weeks ago I started getting a really itchy scalp and my hair started shedding like crazy, especially after massaging the scalp in the shower or scratching my scalp. What could this mean? No one in my family is bald as far as I know LOL. My hair is dark, decently long and pretty thick.

no but serb derm just makes u shed more hair, not make u bald. and if u treat it with a shampoo that works well the hair will regrow if u do lose anything actually. sucks when it itches especially when u scratch it makes it shed more too

Ketaconzole/Nizoral,

Diet also affects it so you should stop eating inflammatory foods if you want to feel better overall long term

Probably caused by dry scalp which makes your body overproduce oil which the Seb Derm causing fungus feeds on.

If your diet is good once or twice a week Nizoral/Ketaconzole should completely get rid of it, I’m usually good for 4-5 days before I have to shampoo again

I have the same problem, I have very thick brown hair mid-length and It's just so itchy my hairline sometimes dandruff too. Has Nizoral/Ketoconazole been working for you if so which one are you using? No one in my family is bald too and I'm worried about my hairline

I suffer from MBP so its normal for me to lose a few hairs each time I shower or comb my hair. I use duta to minimize hairloss btw.

But about two weeks ago my hair has been falling way too easily. Like everytime I shower I would lose 10 times more hair than I used to lose regularly. Even after several hours of showering I could pass my fingers around my hair and get like 5-10 hairs each time. Its like the hairs where just on top and not attached to my scalp.

A few days after the aggresive hairloss started, I realized my scalp was itchy. So I started using an antidandruff shampoo (HS), I have been using it for a week now and the hairloss have reduced, although I dont know if its because of the shampoo or that I have lost so much hair than the remaining ones are the strongest and are harder to fall.

Dandruff can really fuck with ones hair in very little time.
