Been following the developments of the world chess championship currently being played out in my country

I've always played chess casually but never competitive ... Just some games online and occasionally over the board if anyone IRL challenges me... I'm about 1500 ELO

The current tournament got me curious about its history and it's so fucking insane that so many masters of the game were tribesmen.

Tal, Steinitz, Najdorf, Bronstein, Kasparov, Fischer (despite denying it), Botvinnik, Taimanov, Korchnoi, Lasker.
These are just past guys.

Tons of contemporary players from the tribe too.

It's not just Noble prizes, science, law, politics, music etc.

It's fucking chess.
No amount of tribal support will help you if you don't have the IQ and creativity to back it up on the board.
I think the scripture is right. They are chosen by God.

I'm starting to lose faith tbh @PrinceLuenLeoncur , all this suffering of subs and other people.
God could stop it any time but WANTS us to suffer.
He is almighty so he could reverse time to right before Eve was tempted but doesnt.
My life is up in the fucking ditch and its never getting better either. All of this because God doesnt want to reverse time (He is almighty).
