Yeah, I had some old friends (like childhood best friends) that I hadn’t met for like a year or two. Met them again some time after, but it just wasn’t quite the same.

As a kid I used to wonder how people, best friends, even could grow apart and basically just end up strangers (that once knew each other) until I experienced it myself.

An odd feeling, but I’m at peace with it.
