Its insane how fast u can lose respect from someone

I would say I’m someone who usually leaves good first impressions. I’m talkative, somewhat funny, and confident, and people initially love to invite me and praise me for random stuff and shit, but once I start making little mistakes like being awkward for a moment, not being as funny as usual, or being bad at some goofy ass sports, they start losing respect for me instantly. The funny thing is that I find myself doing this too. I hate this human nature. I always try to be extroverted, but I sometimes just wanna lie on my bed and do nothing but watching youtube and eating popcorns cause im tired of this bs
