I have a weird way of measuring mine, probably a lot more accurate than everyone elses way of measuring. just stand in a sliding door doorway and close the door to where both of my shoulders touch the door and the door frame then measure the gap

i stood in a wall corner hitting my right shoudler and used a pencil to mark my left shoudler on the wall
