If you’re sedentary or you have been for years, let me explain why it is over for you.
Native Americans:
Native Americans, like other populations that traditionally led physically demanding lifestyles, tended to have higher bone mass and density due to a combination of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Here's why:
1. High physical activity levels
They were outside doing what Native Americans do. Hunting, farming, travelling or just walking/running ALL the time, meaning they were absorbing a DIMENSIONAL amount of vitamin D, which is also why they aged horribly, but that’s beside the point, their prolonged exposure to sunlight ensured adequate vitamin D production, which is crucial for calcium absorption, bone health and testosterone levels.
Modern American Lifestyle:
Indoor lifestyles:
Conclusion:
The root cause of recession and inadequate bone growth is not only due to genetics, but mostly to diet and sedentary lifestyles during growth phases. If you’re reading this, it’s probably already over unless you’re 13 and even then, you’ll never reach your true physical genetic potential because of how you’ve been brought up thus far and how you will continue to live.
Richard Ramirez grew up malnourished, eating absolute shit and doing drugs his whole life and look at him, that’s the power of Native American genes.
And i’m not even excluding myself from this, i wrote all of this from my bed, laying down jfl. Over for all of us.
Also, this is a pretty water thread. Just a thought i had and wanted to share.
Native Americans:
Native Americans, like other populations that traditionally led physically demanding lifestyles, tended to have higher bone mass and density due to a combination of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Here's why:
1. High physical activity levels
- Native American lifestyles historically involved activities like hunting, gathering, farming, and long-distance walking or running, which are weight-bearing and promote bone strength and density.
- Carrying heavy loads (e.g., tools, food, or water) also contributed to bone development.
- Traditional diets were high in calcium, vitamin D, and other minerals essential for bone health, even if sources varied:
- Game meat: Rich in minerals like phosphorus and magnesium.
- Fish: Provided calcium and vitamin D in coastal or river-dwelling populations.
- Bone broths: Made from animal bones, supplying collagen and calcium.

Modern American Lifestyle:
- Sedentary behavior dominates:
- Most Americans spend hours sitting at desks, commuting, or watching screens.
- Recreational exercise is often minimal or inconsistent, leaving bones under-stimulated.
- Without regular weight-bearing activities, bones lose density over time (osteopenia/osteoporosis risks).
- Nutrient-deficient processed foods dominate:
- High in sugar, refined grains, and unhealthy fats, which can impair bone health by increasing inflammation and acidity.
- Low intake of calcium and magnesium due to limited consumption of meat, dairy, or nutrient-rich whole foods.
- Over-reliance on supplements instead of whole-food sources.
Indoor lifestyles:
- Less time outdoors results in widespread vitamin D deficiency.
- Many people rely on fortified foods or supplements, which may not always be effective.
- Sedentary habits early in life:
- Increased screen time, reduced outdoor play, and limited physical education contribute to weaker bones.
- Diets high in processed foods may lack the nutrients needed for proper bone growth.
