No, I have only been in Pakistan five times in total my entire life. Once as a young boy so I don't remember anything. Then at 12, at 15 and 2020 and recently in 2022. I have family members who are dirt poor and I have family members who are millionaires (even for western standards). The discrepancy is crazy. If I was born and raised in Pakistan, I actually would've most likely never gotten a facial deformity and then I'd be average even there and also here if I later moved here. I like to fantasize sometimes about this. I'd say life in the Netherlands is better for financial reasons, though. No governmental corruption either; no terrorist attacks, no tropical diseases, better way of life, et cetera. The downside however is that most of my family lives there and when I'm there I actually feel loved and you don't get that here in the west despite having family members here. Here it's all about individualism whereas there collectivism still exists although it's nowhere like it used to. I am often told that social dynamics have changed so much even among family members. Back then, your friends were like family members then imagine how strong family bonds were back then. Things have changed for the worse, sadly.

Albeit I admit the sandwich slices were bought from a local Dutch supermarket so perhaps those sandwiches are kafir.

I used to feel this way but I got a new-found appreciation for it all. What saddens me is the suburbs; where they try to emulate the west and even the people there wear western dress.
