Are you really comfortable with your current situation? Be honest. We complain about our looks, but often, we prefer the familiar discomfort to the terrifying uncertainty of change. It's self-sabotage, plain and simple. We're obsessed with the idea of lookmaxxing, but hesitant to truly commit. Why?

Look in the mirror. Really look. Satisfied? If not, what's stopping you? You started that gym routine, then quit. Planned a strict diet, then caved. Researched jaw surgery, then chickened out. Bought minoxidil, applied it twice…gathering dust. You start, then hesitate. Why?

It's the comfort of the familiar, isn't it? Change is scary. It demands effort, sacrifice, vulnerability. We cling to what we know, even if it's slowly killing our potential. We crave a better version of ourselves, but fear the unknown. What if we fail? What if the "new you" is worse? Easier to blame circumstances, genetics, luck. Easier to stay stuck.

But make no mistake: a life lived in the shadows of your potential will be paid for in regret. The fat guy, the rotter, the ugly guy – you all will pay. The years wasted, the opportunities missed, the dreams deferred – they will weigh on you, a constant reminder of what could have been.

And then comes the excuse: "I'm just unlucky." Bullshit. While some are genuinely dealt a cruel hand, most of us fall somewhere in the mid-range of luck. The real difference between success and failure isn't luck; it's fortune.

  • Luck: Random chance. A winning lottery ticket. Zero control.
  • Fortune: Created luck. Seizing opportunities. Acting despite the fear.

Incels see an IOI and freeze. They schedule surgery, then cancel. They complain about bad luck while choosing inaction. They're waiting for fortune to find them. Fools.

The truth: you chose this. Every single day, you choose comfort over change, fear over action.

But you can choose differently. It's not too late. Defy your destiny. Confront the fear. Choose action. Choose fortune.

I just think most ppl don't commit to 'looksmaxxing' because they already know it's over even after ascending.

I mostly agree, setting aside the obvious fact that genetics are extremely important and determine your whole life, there's still a lot you can do on your own.

I've seen an example of someone who just doesn't do anything or seem to care enough and tries to cut corners when improving. And yet they want/expect results. I guess some people don't have it in them to truly improve, and are destined to aim for and remain in mediocrity. They'll just cry about "genetics" while being oblivious to how they do nothing, and while genetics do play a massive role but you can easily do a ton to at least max yourself out and make the best out of this life.

As for me I put effort but I have to go get 10mm of palate expansion so that's a worry.

It never began if you're on this forum. Nothing is repairing years of blackpill.

There's always room for improvement. Thats why i disagree with the defeatist blackpill mentality.

Just seems like the wrong forum to be, if you're entirely hopeless tbh.
There's an entire sister forum dedicated to rotters, incels.is, that looks exactly like this one.
Maybe incels.is is just too depressing for some rotters here, and going there requires being entirely honest with yourself and not on the fence of "we're all gonna make it :feelsautistic:" and "its over :feelsrope:"

real shit, most people here that are ltn-mtn could ascend to at least htn especially if they’re in their teens. 90% of this forum has never seen their abs.

its not so easy, but its not over neither.
In the vast majority of cases, the truth lie between the 2 extrems, unlike what social medias might sometime be promoting. The truth isn't sensational.
.is only bring you down. It wil make you become someone worse.
"Show me your friends, and I'll show you who you are" is partially true, particularly in that scenario.
Its not easy to live, humans have, since they exist probably, seek ways to cope from reality ( religions... ), but its definitely possible, if you even try.

thx, my guy
