One was a LTB online GF when I was 13. We broke up after a few days of lovey dovey texts without ever calling, so I don't consider that a real relationship. We did know each other's faces. The other was a MTB who was a new student who liked prettyboy bands like 5SOS. I found her IG and got to messaging her. I guess I just succeeded at "be first" theory. One time, I complimented her dress and she was really flattered that I was the only one who commented on it. I remember when I went to meet her in person for the first time at her locker afterschool that this low inhib lightskin in a tanktop showed up and started talking and I just stood there like 
not knowing how to talk like the aspie I am. I'm pretty sure I just said bye without really talking to her. One time, we voice called and she was with her friend and, again, I didn't know what to say, so I just started
