I’ve met with a boring girl or is it my fault?

Background ; Becky 4.5-5, she has low self esteem, it was her first meet up from tinder , a friend told her to make tinder recently, to open up to people, she’s a virgin, never been in a relationship, very introvert and quiet

But she also appears boring, or she didn’t open up to me, cause I didn’t make her feel comfortable enough? idk it felt like she’s maybe drained/depressed, with little essence to work with, I kinda want to meet up with her again just cause I’m curious about her, I’m also inexperienced she resembles myself - I’m also high inhib melancholic introvert, but idk if that’s a good pairing

Difficult to say, sometimes if girls don't like you, they act completely passive, boring, the conversation gets absolutely nowhere with them - you say something, you say another thing, you tell a joke, a funny story, etc. and their only reply is "OK...", followed by awkward silence. Any questions are answer with one-word responses and nothing after that, it's just weird and it makes you feel like something is wrong with you.
I had once with a girl I've went on a date this "conversation", if you can call it this way:

- So have you done anything interesting lately?
- No.
- How do you spend your free time, what do you like to do?
- Uhhh...nothing I guess.
- Don't you have any hobbies, any activities you like to do?
- No.
- Have you seen any interesting movies or read any good books lately?
- No.
- BTW, what's your favorite movie?
- Ummm...I don't know, I can't think at one right now.
(Several seconds of silence while she stars into space with an empty look on her face)
- What are you thinking right now?

I actually had these kind of conversations several times on dates, once even though the girl was mostly unresponsive, I felt pretty good that day about myself and very confident, so I tried to kiss her during a period of silence, she moved away and gave me a disgusted look....that didn't go well...
Another time, after another awkward date, I escorted the girl to her house, tried to get myself invited in, but she claimed she was tired and just wants to sleep, so again, I didn't get anywhere.

Yeah I am trying to figure it out if she just didn't like my looks, and that's why it went like that, but those are my first steps in dating so it wasn't as smooth as it probably should be, we were both rather stressed out, althought I wasn't expecting anything besides getting some experience, "putting myself out there" there were moments of silences and that empty feeling in the head like nothing to talk about, she would probably try harder and show more efforts if I was better looking or taller, but I'll still message her 5-7 days after our meeting to ask if she wanna meet up again, caues I'm curious ngl and we are so similar, we are starting from the same point
