I've been to some super NT frat parties (not in Greek life but friends are) and they're what you'd expect. Beer pong and other drinking games. Beer bongs (funnels) and shotgunning cheap beer. Loud music. Lots of girls dressed in roughly 1 square ft of clothing.

You might play some beer pong or get lucky with a girl or see a fight

The only good high school parties are ragers where there’s like 300 something people but that’s like 2 a year

But most likely you’ll just leave high af at 3am in a city you don’t even know disappointed af driving home with your friends

Going to a party is one of those things that you feel like you're missing out on if you don't go, but feel like it's useless/waste of time when you're there. Most parties are shit unless you got good company tbh. I joined a 'university rowing frat' a few years ago and we went to rowing parties all throughout the netherlands. Here's an aftermovie of an event I went to in 2016, was pretty damn good. It's ~1000 people at such a weekend, just sleep in your tent, festival atmosphere etc.


You drink beer all day, even in the boat or before you are rowing. Just chilling and watching others row etc. Then in the evening there's big parties like in the vid. Typical for those rowing frat parties were throwing beer at others through the venue and throwing people you disagree with on the ground in a half-friendly fashion.(whoever hits the ground first loses, you both stop, loser buys a beer for the winner) And every city has their own colours they dress in so you can recognize where people are from.

Also the big party tent had a string in the top of one of the poles. The pole was covered in oils and wax to make it slippery. The first to get the string out of the pole would win free beer for the rest of the night for everyone from his team/city. Ofcourse you would go there and pull people out of the pole when they tried. Plenty of people with bruises and shit haha.
