I've spotted a guy in my class at uni who wears lifts.

Or at least I'm 95% certain.
• He wears high-tops
• While sitting down his foot / leg is tilting forward (this motion would be difficult to achieve while having the foot on the sole, try yourself).
• Medial malleolus is suspiciously high-set, with his high-tops I shouldn't be able to see it at all.

Unsure what my course of action will be. At the very least I'd like 100% certain before confronting. Help me invent ideas on how I can become more assured.
The best thing would be forcing him into a scenario where shoes need to be taken off.

I'm interested in conversing with him about lookism, as it isn't anything I've done IRL before. But I need to be sure before taking action or I will risk my social wellbeing.

Seems that way. Recently I've been suspicious of a lot of people in public seemingly wearing lifts.

Must be TikTok ruining lifts and informing normies.

I was unaware that it appearantly was this mainstream. This also means that girls are informed of the phenomena and will be able to detect lifts with ease. Just like a guy can tell when a girl wears makeup.

Considering quitting after this enlightenment, as it's just a matter of time before some girl notices that my malleolus is 3cm too high.

If you're wearing 3cm insoles you're totally retarded. You're only getting 50-60% of that height increase but 100% of the discomfort.

What do you mean "only getting 50-60% of that height increase"? I'd like to claim that I get at least 2.5cm even after compression.

What is your suggestion? Wearing more lifts or none at all?

imo lifts are useless because either way once you take your shoes off infront of a girl ur about to hit she'll probably notice the height difference (unless you're taller than her even without the lifts obviously)

I wear lifts because my legs are uneven. Probably what he has too. Pretty common nowadays

Honestly it’s not too rare that a normie would wear lifts but if you really wanna discuss lookism with someone IRL just say a brainrot term from this forum like jfl or something and see if it catches his attention 😂

I personally wear them just to "mog" other men tbh, height demands respect. I don't get any girls anyways so that aspect is irrelevant to me.

I doubt that's common, either way, his anomalies are symmetrical.
thank tiktok for making them mainstream
Seems like that is the case. I'll make sure to thank whoever BP messiah who couldn't even gatekeep from TikTok. JFL

Not interested in talking to someone who watched a couple TikToks. After the input I've received here, that is likely the case.

Perhaps I shouldn't be shocked. Yet I doubt that a majority knows of it, surely it's not far above 20% of young men.

That's interesting. The people you see wear them, are they trying to hide it or are they open with it? Is your friend open with it, did he tell you or do you just know?

My friend is dead open to me and vice versa, he basically is the type of person wich doesn't like to lie, he knows about me wearing them tho, he told me

I would probably not tell a friend about such thing. Could easily go and tell other people and all of the sudden you're the guy wearing LIFTS (what an insecure loser).

Imo he never judged me tho, he knows about me getting surgeries and he is pretty supportive about it, he might be blackpilled

So you think compression will only eat 20% of your insole height? Sounds like an optimist. Insoles are a scam on many levels, they're not worth it. Wear thick insoled sneakers that will make you look like a clown.
