I’ve started to fear becoming uncanny

I have an orthodontist appointment. Today I’m going to tell my first doctor that I won’t be continuing with him and that another doctor is planning to use Damon braces, MSE, a miniscrew device similar to Herbst, and do bimax surgery. My current doctor previously said, “you’ll look uncanny with Lefort 1,” so I don’t know. He also said there’s no need for MSE or a palate expander and just gave me rubber bands and traditional braces. The other doctor said he’ll do everything, but the idea of looking uncanny scares me. I don’t know what to do. Maybe I should postpone the appointments by a week and get opinions from a 3rd or 4th orthodontist.
