I used to break my back with labor work, now I've been changing my working field to security. I literally just sleep and sit at work and rarely get up and earn even more money than ever! I'm careermaxxing right now, so that I'm hopefully going to be able to get up even less and earn more money!

Never get up guys!

It is, almost everyone in our company is a complete nutcase(including me ofc) and I love it.
So you get payed to just watch a monitor cause your security?

Today at nightshift, I've ordered a pizza and a chicken salate! Then I've watched a rehab room video. Later on I made an obligatory security tour with one of my coworkers and it was funny af. Sometimes we laugh our lungs out during work.

Sounds like a amazing job lol

Not even monitor, but it get's close. I have to be able to react to all sorts of alarming notifications and know how to handle them, including fire or terrorism hazards and stuff. And we do 2x big control walks across the whole building, it takes over an hour if we do them fast. But only one tour for each person. We can watch tv, read books, or play video games if we want to, we just have to be able to function if something really happens, which never happens at nightshifts lol.

It's gateman work where you protect the building by filtrating and avoiding unauthorized people to enter through the security zone, where you are supposed to guard the whole time, which is the biggest part of the job. And during nightshift only a few people enter like the cleaning stuff and shit, which means more chill time + you get paid a small +% bonus for just working during the night and on holidays even more like +100%.
I could actually hire a hooker and bang her in the security zone if i really wanted to and get away with it.

one of our contractors said to me at the beginning: "once security always security" , after I've told him that I'm gonna focus for at least ten years in this field. That was months before on my first day at this object. Now I understand why, lol.
