how you gonna say someone googled it when they get it right :lul: whats the point of even asking in the first place

Only correct answer
Solve system of equations
Let x = Jills age and y = Jacks age

3x = y
2(x+2) = y + 2

3x = y
2x + 2 = y
x - 2 = 0

x = 2
y = 6

Jack is 6, in two years he'll be 8, 8/2 = 4
Jill is 2, in 2 years she'll be four.

Over for IQlets

Alright, one last chance to save your reputation as a non-retard:

10, 11, 9, 12, 8, 13, 7, 14, ?, ?
What are the next two numbers in the above sequence?

For real, you pulled out the system of equations and got it wrong. Hey man there are worse things to be than low IQ.

Ok this one will separate the braincels from the stemcels

The real numbers x and y fulfill

(x + 1) / (2y + 1) = 1 and (x + 2) / (2y + 1) = 3

Then x + 2y is equal to ?
does / mean divide or multiply?
we dont use that sign where i live

x + 2y = -1

from the first equation x = 2y so solve for x or y from there

To add y= -1/4 = - 0.25

Then 2 * - 0.25 + 2* - 0.25 = - 1
American education is in a sad state. CCP moggers like @Collagen or rope could have solved this in the 3rd grade

solving maths is a sign of high IQ. Memorizing history facts is not. IQ = processing speed and history = memory

This was a question from a belgian competetive University entrance examination

The other two above where standard IQ test questions. The x ist 3 years older than y.... Scheme and the number pattern with addition/subtraction scheme
