Is it safe to box with jaw implants? (wraparound, custom, gonial)

People complain about the what if's of getting hit after having implants but my brother in christ if it the impact was enough to break your implant it was probably strong enough to break your face with or without it regardless. I dugged around anyways for any info regarding the matter and you're only precautioned if the implant was just recently placed along with what I already said so here are some excerpts I dug up:

Doctors have said that you should only worry about a jaw implant breaking if you were involved in a high-impact injury, in which, your jaw would also have broken even if you didn't have an implant. In the case of a high-impact injury, such as a car accident, would having a jaw implant make the injury worse? I can imagine the implant's fractured pieces to cause more damage to adjacent facial features, viz. would EMS have more difficulty in treating someone in a car accident with a jaw implant?

Regardless, when done correctly, mild trauma should not cause displacement of the implant. However, if one does experience trauma around the area where an implant was recently placed, it is always a good idea to have the surgeon evaluate things because there is a possibility that the implant can shift.

I'd say it's not safe even without them. Combat sports can be quite bad for looks long-term and for physical and neurological health (especially if hitting head is involved).

This. Combat sports are retarded if you care about looksmaxxing.

This is a question asked many times. Like many questions regarding facial implants, there is not a huge amount of data because other than off-the-shelf chin implants, they are not a common procedure.

The most likely answer in my opinion is that a custom facial implant (which is the only type you should consider getting) will decrease the chance of a broken bone, but will be a bigger issue that most doctors are not prepared to deal with if you do happen to get a broken bone underneath an implant.

Doctors have said that you should only worry about a jaw implant breaking if you were involved in a high-impact injury, in which, your jaw would also have broken even if you didn't have an implant.
Bingo. Most people will never get a broken jaw at any point in their lives.

Its gonna be an awkward injury if someone manages to break your implant, but i would say its more safer to get a bimax if you're doing a contact sport.

Do wrestling or BJJ instead.

How is it different than regular jiu-jitsu?
Is it similiar to krav maga?
It’s 2023 and you haven’t heard of BJJ ?

Are you living under a rock ?

In college rn, and don't know a single guy who does it / ever mentioned it.
UFC and MMA are now super popular. BJJ/Grappling is one the basics of this sport LMAO.

UFC and MMA are popular to watch but your average frat guy has no idea what BJJ or Grappling is, sounds a bit autistic if i'mm being honest, I looked it up and it seems cool tho.

I have peek implants and my surgeon told me I should never box or do anything where I’ll get repeated hits to my face.

Even in the US bro. I mean Joe Rogan who is the number 1 podcaster of the world, talks about it all the time.
No, I mean if you're in the US it'd be even more unbelievable to not know (aside from Brazil or Japan). I was just trying to get a handle on the full extent of this guy's obliviousness.

Everyone is so negative here it’s actually funny, just bc some boomer hobby you have that makes you realize your age doesn’t give sense to “obliviousness” LOL
