My upper lip does not curl out like usual. I feel like my something around my jaw or my jaw itself is recessed, is there anyway that this is fixable without surgery or any orthodontic procedures? I did have braces however due to multiple reasons I couldnโ€™t finish the treatment and as a result my upper teeth are still slightly crooked. I would speculate that my issues are coming from a malocclusion. Any suggestions on how to improve? Any help would be appreciated.

(I am new on here so excuse me if i use wrong terminology)

yeah he is. I didn't mean that he could be a mogger, I'm just talking overall for everybody. Short ramus doesn't mean you're automatically ugly
In that case how could this recession be fixed? Is it fixable at all without surgery?

not too bad, you'll be fine (โ ใƒปโ โˆ€โ ใƒปโ )

How you imagine this?
I donโ€™t know exactly, as mentioned previously im new here, which is why im asking yall for help. Ive already read through a couple of threads which do talk about growth of the jaw, however they dont exactly adress my problem.

I mean you want to somehow move bones in right position

You have a recessed mandible.

You are the prime candidate for someone that needs to be extremely cautious with jaw surgery, particularly if a surgeon decides to move your upper jaw as well.

This is if a surgeon moves your lower jaw only.

It will align your bottom lip with your top, which won't necessarily make your upper lip curl up like you wanted however. But moving your lower jaw only is safe and guaranteed you will look only better.

This is moving your upper and lower jaw using a movement called counter clockwise rotation.

It's exaggerated here but I want you to pay close attention.

You have two features that makes you the prime candidate for being cautious or avoiding upper jaw movements:

1) Upturned nose

2) Jaws already protruding past your forehead

If you decide to do upper jaw movements, you risk your face looking like a golden retriever i.e a dog, and getting an even more upturned nose which will make you look like a pig.

However to get that "lip curl", you will need some sort rotational movement, so that involves the upper jaw well.

Now if you go to an extremely aesthetic focused surgeon, they may move your upper jaw carefully without risking you looking protrusive. But I'm telling you what the worst case scenario is so you are aware.

If you want to be on the safer side, i would only go for lower. You may need your premolars removed to make space for movement as well.

Posting good looking people with a failo some one has is the biggest cope ever. They are good looking despite their flaws (like shit ramus) not because of them.
that's literally what i was saying tho, you can look good with a bad ramus. I never said he looks good because of it lol
