i am 16 years old and went to the orthodontist to ask about MARPE or palate expander, they said i didjt really need it but could get it for 2.5 mm which is basically nothing. However I appealed to the orthodontists and one of them were bped and into facial aesthetics and said my lower third is the problem. After much talk one of the assistants said she can refer me to a surgeon who can look at me. I have a medical insurance and want to get covered. I need to be prepared and know what to ask for the jaw surgery and need help with how to ask and be able to sue if I get messed up. Please help what should I ask for and how to prepare for my consultation. Do i have a chance to get covered by insurance? I think j got referred just because I was jnterested un aesthetics but idk.
