Jaw surgery and MARPE Query

How do I find a well trusted MARPE orthodontist and even a good jaw surgeon? I was looking to switch orthodontists to see if I can find one that will give me MARPE. When I went in for a consolation, he said he can give me it, but it might misalign my bite. Also, the orthodontic place only has 22 reviews with a 3.5 average. Also, looking at there oral surgeons, highest rating was like 3.3 with 300+ reviews. I think a lefort 2 would ascend my midface, as moving just my lower jaw will make my face look flat.

Also, current orthodontists wants me to wear class 2 rubber bands, but my incisors are tipping inwards a little, but the MARPE ortho said he can flare them back out and retract, which I assume would be little retraction. Main reason to switch would be because of MARPE, which I heard can help give a little cheek forward growth with time.

Any advice on what I should do?

I got a Marpe about a month ago, find an airway focused ortho near you or just anywhere and ask em for referrals to one near you. If u don’t have sleep apnea insurance prolly wont cover it so ur looking at like a couple grand. Also for the bite misalignment, my ortho said she’ll send me to some other doctor and they’ll do bone grafting in my lower jaw to align the bite paired with Invisalign. In short just find a airway ortho, get a sleep study, and get marpe

sorry for the late reply, I just got x-rays done by a new orthodontist! I will go back for a consultation where they will tell me the exact treatment, but he said I will get MARPE and mandibular advancement surgery for my lower jaw. I have been not dealing with my looks well recently, and am praying he gives me an upper jaw surgery, but not sure if he will bc my goal is aesthetic focused. Not sure if upper jaw is required in my case, but I would like a lefort 2 honestly.
