If your masseters are set high then it will make you look "bloated" if they are low set you'll achieve what you want(partially).
other ways to get hollow cheeks
Lowering bf%
Debloating by: Cardio, drinking water, sauna, use of diuretics like a diazide or hydrochlorothiazide(prob butchered it) or eplerone
lowering carbs
using topical isotretinoin to get the skin thinning effect

Yea I know that, but I've read that sometimes the masseter muscles once trained can give you more of a chubby round look and wanted to find out if this was true
