Here's a JBWmaxxing plan if you are white and broke in America.
Keep working your boring 9-5 job for 6-8 months trying to save up as much as you can. Then go Go! Go! Nihon or whatever and find a very cheap language school. There are like 3 tiers. 1 is very cheap for a VISA. The 2nd tier is where you actually learn and the top one is like only Chinese and Korean students that learn japanese really fast.
Once you do that they'll take care of the VISA process, you can live in Japan for 2 years. You get free national insurance on arrival. Then buy a very cheap flight ticket from wherever you are in the US like Spirit or Frontier to Los Angeles and LAX you can go to Tokyo on zip airlines it costs like $300. Once you are in Japan eat Matsuya everyday for like 2 dollars. If you make friends go on Meet Up and meet groups. There's a huge JBWmaxxing community in Japan and that's it. If you want make more money to enjoy thr finer things in life use your degree to get a good white collar job but I wouldn't recommend it because Japanese work cultures is hectic but you will get paid good. Maybe do that for a few years and then retire.
This is the plan. If you are eurocel you need to save up for little more time because of lower wages and need to do a little more paperwork for VISA process. Also try not to do something stupid in Japan you will get sacked immediately. Japan has 0 tolerance policy towards foreigners unlike the west so you have to be careful not to piss anyone off. Just don't act like a jerk and you'll enjoy your time in Japan.
Thoughts?
