Jeffrey Dahmer accepted Jesus in his life and became Christian before he was put to death. As a result, he now has an eternal life of bliss in heaven.

Meanwhile, his gay victims were about to engage in homosexual acts, an abomination in the eyes of God, right before they became Dahmer's dinner. As a result, they are now burning in hell for all eternity.

Depends on whether or not he was serious and actually repented his actions. Likely wasn't, so 99% chance he's in hell.

doesnt this apply to virtually all sins, except maybe envy? So how is anyone able to repent? he may have enjoyed the crimes when he committed them but he can repent in prison later

Hey, I'm pretty sure I saw a post Christianity interview with the man and it was pretty evident that he did not have the holy Spirit dwelling inside him. His words bore no fruit.

I think it was pretty plain to see that there had been no change in him. Sure he might have been talking about Jesus, but his demeanor was still that of a psychopath.
