no the ones that accepted Jesus became Christians so they spread the good gene and their ancestry is of Christian descent

If you think Jesus was the perfect man without sin then I guess that makes sense. They didn't think he was son of god though, so their motives or incentives to reject him wouldn't necessarily be evil.

Killing was rampant in those days. Sure, the leaders were probably evil, but the common Jewish civilian probably not very different from Christians. Blasphemy was punishable by death in a lot of places, even among Cristians. After the resurrection I mean.
