Everyone needs some sort of thing to worship and follow. Jfl if you think society has given up on worship and religion.

People are leaving religions that have dominated the last millennia, sure. But all they have done is replaced it.

the new “gods” are celebrities that people mindlessly follow and put their confidence in. Their “religion” is their politics, hedonism and nihilistic behaviour.

The west will have a upswing in Christianity/Islam eventually anyway. Africa is predominantly Muslim/Christian and will have a population of 4.4 billion by 2100. Europe has declining birth rates and will use that as a pretext for mass migration. North America will follow the same path as well.

Exactly personally I worship success in all aspects and hedonism. I want to enjoy my life to the fullest and be successful in life. I personally don't think traditional religion will make a return as the rest of the world will follow the American lead. Society as a whole is something I don't care about unless it directly influences me tbh.

Indeed that would be true if all immigrants were truly and strictly religious. Most immigrants migrate then lose their religion and their kids will definitely want to fit in with everyone so they aren't going to be religious. As time passes religion as a whole world wide decreases. It is just impossible to be religious and live in the 21st century fully.

I’m a Easter/christmas Catholic tbh. Even with that, I’m the least religious Individual in my family, including extended family as well.
