Man I don't know what is wrong with me, but I've come to you guys this time , in my time of need.
I've recently gotten a call from an Army Recruiter and I just don't know how to respond. Any extra information would be great. Tomorrow I'll be talking to the guy in a Zoom call.
I know you guys will joke around, but a few nice responds would be great.

Side Story: He asked me for my height," I said I'm a pretty short guy, only at 5'8 maybe 5'9 no shoes" The recruiter said "I don't know why you say you're short, I'm 5'2"

5'2. Hence he's working a desk job answering calls. He would be useless on the front-line

If you can carry the things needed it shouldn't matter right? Doesn't matter how big someone is if they have a bullet in their skull

You will probably die in Iran tbh. But it’s your career after all.

I don't know jack about the army, but I don't think I'll be front line. Has any looksmax user been in the army? Will a 5'8 guy just be cucked in the army?

What do you want to know? You wouldnt be barred from enlisting because of your height. 5’8 is well above the minimum and as long as you pass boot camp/other training you could have your pick of job. Mechanic, regular infantry, some desk jockey shit. The military takes all comers if they can do the work

Better not have any mental problems for sure. The army doesn’t accept mentalcels.

I would like to know the reasons to NOT join the army. I'll try to provide as much information as possible about my self.

Where you live? I think to be part of the army here you have to be at least 170cm

Well I have never enlisted, so none of this is first hand experience. However, many of my family members and friends have joined the army and they tell me about it. Also I learned about recruitment once because I almost signed up a long time ago. For the time being, there arent many infantry/front line fighting positions open as far as I can tell because there is not a lot of serious combat happening. Even people who were in the shit in the middle east in the 2000s told me that, for the most part, you do a lot of sitting around waiting on orders. I dont know if you wanted to fight but it doesnt seem very exciting or exhilarating like the recruiters try to sell it.

If you cant deal with pressure then you should definitely not join the army. You should also definitely not join if you dont like to be tied down for too long. Typically you are on a contract with the army for a few years and you cant leave. From what I hear, the job is very secure and the pay is consistent, but you dont make much. It seems to me not a good idea unless you really like the idea of working and fighting directly for your country. You can also get your college paid for through the army if you are interested in that

If you can do the work, it doesnt matter if you have a temper or are socially inept, the military will take you
