Joker is meant to be highly intelligent and witty. He has had these qualities for decades, with Nicholson etc. In this movie however, he is low IQ. It's not a bad movie, just should have never been called Joker

It was pretty good. It's like a modern version of "Taxi Driver". Just more dark, and with more relevant social commentary.
