What would you estimate his inter molar width is? (IMW)

I would say between 42-44mm

But I want to hear thoughts.

I know but skulls vary greatly in size, witthout knowing his in units you can't even guess

Of course I do, what I try to say is that since we don't know his skull width , it could be 12 cm or 22 cm. In the first case the imw would be around 35-45 mm and in the second one it would be 70 mm. But again, we don't know so I dont understand how it can be estimated

Maybe we are referring to different things, when an orthodontist checks your IMW to check if you need expansion, they don’t measure your skull width.

IMW typically ranges from 32 - 50 mm max.

well he is, that very lean and defined look is extremely uncanny you should have some fat to look healthy tho

41 its naturally posible, I have 40. But what the point of expanding your palate in 40s even in high 30s, if your tongue already feeling great on the roof of the mouth? It won't improve any feature on your face.The thing is - im saying 45-50 its impossible naturally. You just cant have that much space on your mouth nowadays. Even average digits like 31 in first world countrys.

I personally have a 30 IMW and have sleeping issues and breathing problems.

My goal is to get to at least 40-41 with an MSE and Alf or so.

My only concern is the nose widening, do you know any way to prevent that?

It depends.I would believe that he fix his bite with mse if he like younger than 21-22, when your upper jaw expanding and moving forward, your lower jaw would do that too. Sadly, your skull literally cutting in a half so your nose will get wider anyways, and 10-11 mm expanding its crazy, high risk of collapse and mse assymetry, i would go for 6-7 , check if i got enough space in the roof of the mouth and then either stay at 37 or go to 40 with high risk.
