In terms of ethics, morals etc there’s no inherent meaning of life. You create it yourself with however you see fit.

However interms of objective science and biology there is only 2 meanings to life: To procreate and to die.

Is intelligence necessary in this society?:

Technically no. You can get ahead in life with just being an npc and following orders. However if you possess high intelligence, you can cheat and bend the system to your will.

Yes that’s true, @Sloppyseconds made a good point about this in his most recent thread. About water claims being necessary and as a litmus test for engage-able conversation. But the subjective part once this is met, holds wayyy more primacy imo

It’s possible to hold a subjective view thats valid in logic but isn’t completely sound though. I’m guessing the reason why you hold objectivity as a standard to begin with is because it’s purely logical and can’t be refuted. Subjective views that are valid logically can’t be refuted nor proven(unless they aren’t sound). The subjective view is what allows a person to bring out their creativity and individuality in ways that are not possible via objective means, and is what separates midwits from true marks of intelligence, as long as their conclusion isnt a non-sequitor.
