Title
Bluepillers and their cognitive dissonance
If you accept the statement "personality is important", then the obvious thing to do would be to NOT be yourself; i.e. copy the personalities of people who are more successful than you.
If you accept the statement "Just be yourself", then you're accepting that whatever "yourself" is won't change the outcome, so your actual personality doesn't matter because you'll be 'okay' no matter what.

Doesn't make sense to have these phrases come out of the same mouth

thats true i never thought of that

Its looks<personality
Not personality<looks sadly

Being yourself without filters means that you accept yourself as you are, you don't find yourself better or worse than others and you don't have an inflated sense of self

It's definitely not a cope but I find that people give this advice without actually know what it really is being yourself

It's something you have to experience to know the real meaning of being yourself and how peaceful it is
