Im not balding as far as I know, but when I was 18 I got paranoid and started to think I was balding because I suddenly became conscious of my hairline and I've now been on fin for 8 years. In reality I was probably never balding but I dont want to stop fin now since what if it was saving inches of hair in the mean time, i can never know.
most men in my family are balding so it feels like it will start eventually so I may not be a good candidate for hairline lowering.

also afaik hairline lowering surgery is generally much more expensive than a HT?
