Just bought an EMS device and tried using to hypertrophy my malaris muscle. When I place the electrodes near my eye, my eyes become more squinty but it's more of a twitching sensation rather than prolonged contraction like when you squint for long periods of time. Also, my device doesn't really have positive or negative electrodes.

Am I doing this right?

Try this instead:

I understand that surgery is more likely to get me the result I want. But an EMS device is cheap and can use it for a couple of hours a day no issue. If it doesn't work, I probably will get eye surgery.

doesnt sound like this will work.

custom infraorbital malar implants with Dr Ramieri (Euros 5000 now its 9000, due to demand from here)

You can definitely get it done for an absolute bargain in places like India/Pakistan, but not to sure who does implants, I did see Dr Sunil Richardson do them.

Did it fix scleral show?

No, but i didnt have scleral show. i pressume the infraorbital support would push the lower eyelid up.

The root cause in men is usually bones, rarely do they need soft tissue manipulation and if they do the rewards are always small.

you could stretch your lower eyelids too much and make them droopier , i tried one of these exercises to raise the lower eyelids and it made me get dark circles and get sclera show. The muscles under your eyes are thin af so is your skin so be careful.

What helped me improve my eye area:

Stop spending so much time on blue screen devices, go outside more, put ice on your eyes, drink lots of water (my eyelids get swollen when i'm dehydrated, and i get uee), adjust your sleep position, and try to focus your eyes in general, lots of people have this empty look in their eyes and their eyebrows raised because of devices and they dont realise it since you dont focus your eyes on a screen few cm away, genetics do play a role, but these things maximize your base potential (+mewing , but you need to do it 24/7, do it while young and flip your lifestyle around, i've been doing it for 2 years and i dont look as tired and my face looks more compact and healthier , you wont go from a thumb to gigachad, here genetics do play a role)

Minox unironically makes my eye area better (i get more hooding maybe cause of swelling) i use it on my eyelashes and eyebrows

so if he does it correctly, that means that facial yoga / exercises is legit? can make any aesthetical change?

depends on the exercises, but some exercises work. Some dont at all no matter how you do those. But facial exercises to correct facial asymmetry caused by muscles work 100%.
