Just did Aqualyx on my cheeks

This is the grid I did (19 injections each cheek, 38 injections in total)

Preloaded 19 syringes with 20 units. 1.9mL in each cheek and 0.10 units per injection spaced about 1.5cm from each other.

This shit was so painful ngl even after numbing the area for 30 minutes. Made a big mess in my bathroom, also my face was pretty bloodied up.

My Face is currently so swelled up, There’s no way I can show my mom my face. For the time being I’ll be wearing a hoodie 24/7.

How do you recommend doing the grid? Do I go entirely for the buccal area only? Or a bit over the masseter as the image you shown didn’t that go over masseter and is unideal to dissolve there?

I just wanted to dissolve my cheek area. There are people who dissolve their fat around that area but it’s more risky as there’s often less fat there and more nerves.

No - not "everyone" - "people on here" not clinics or anyone trained on this, or even most DIY'ers on reddit, although some do. You CAN do it, but you run certain risks and it's less effective for various reasons - the luer lock and meso needle is super cheap. It's one of the reasons people complain about efficiency of a whole bunch of things sometimes re improper injections - whether it's the wrong needle or the wrong technique or injection sites. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Also this is read in the context of the overall setup etc.

Well planning on the buccal region, gonna do 2ml each cheek and 1.5ml under chin. Prob 12-16 each cheek but honestly depends and prob 5-8 under chin/neck area
