Honestly i always thought i am 5'8 and looked down on guys who are 5'7 and below and it so happened that i have a friend who is a bit of height expert.
I met him recently and he had to measure me with stadiometer. My world just shattered to say the least...
With intense scrutiny in my eyes and utter shock coursing through my body, i had faced the stadiometer and been measured 1 and 1/3rd inch shy of 5ft 8
Feels like i would never recover from this. I am depressed af right now It made me a bit more sceptical to people's height claims.
Pretty much sure guys who claim 5'9 like @forevergymcelling are probably just 5'7 3/4 dwarfs.
But you can tell people like @MoggerGaston never lied about their height - the guy looks tall even though he is 'only' 182 cm
Don't measure your height with a stadiometer unless you know you're around 6'0 for certainty
