It necessary for BSSO. Also wisdom teeth dont cause bone loss thought everyone knew that by now. As for the premolars the gap will be closed with orthodontics soon.

Yeah i did for like an hour. Its around 1 cm. 2mm existing overbite, plus gap of premolars closed, plus upper front teeth pushed forward.

Because wisdom teeth removal is necessary for BSSO no matter what. Pretty well known by anyone that has done the research that wisdom teeth removal wont recess you or make jaw narrow UNLESS its very far impacted into you jaw causing a change in the shape of ur bones to begin with

Also, premolars removal is also necessary as my lefort 1 area is very adequately forward, meaning an overbite needs to be created for BSSO. By what action could this be bad for me?

Wisdom tooth removal is not always necessary for BSSO.

Maybe premolar extraction is necessary for you, I don't know. But the risk is that your dental arch will shrink, causing you to lose soft tissue support and limiting the amount of advancement you can tolerate.

My teeth were completely straight and aligned. Therefore to move my jaw forward, an overbite needs to be created, by making a gap and closing it with orthodontics. Most people need bimax, but I am a rare case where my maxilla is already pretty far forward.

So if i wanted to do bimax instead of only bsso, would i still need to extract teeths (i wouldnt need to create overbite/underbite inorder for the teeth to be aligned after bimax)

ngl it's a bit much, you really wanna have as many teeth as possible but in terms of any maxillary recession it will be 0 because the dental arch (where your teeth lie) is separate and your maxilla can only be changed via lefort surgery (RiRa had severe decay probably leading to extractions). The only thing is just a narrower smile with larger buccal corridors and less lip support. I think im gonna make a thread on this anyway to clear up any misconceptions. You're getting jaw surgery but this is more to anyone thinking that extraction = retraction of the maxilla bone JFL. Also OP if your dental palate is narrower to the point you can't mew get palatal expansion done
