So you have a goal. Maybe to loose weight, or get girlfriend, or boost your income.
There's a near infinite number of books and other media you can consume, that will give you strategies to achieve your goal.
Sneaky Procrastination
Consuming any of this material, DELAYS your achievement of the goal.
"Practicing" anything that's not exactly what you need to do to move towards your goal, is also procrastination. Practice is another form of sneaky procrastination.
The inapplicability of information
Consuming some one else's guide, will tell you how some one else solved a problem, in a way that's compatible with their unique biology, their local culture, worked for their target audience or customer at that specific time in history, and with the technologies that were available to them at that specific time.
As some one who has read a lot, I can tell you the majority of information talking about how to get girls, or make money, isn't going to be applicable to you.
To the extend gold nuggets of wisdom exist, you WILL find them quicker by pursuing your goals directly, and using just in time learning, which cover here at the end.
Just in Time Learning With Ai
Just in Time learning, with Ai is far, far superior than consuming any content on your goals.
This is where you ONLY seek out additional knowledge when you hit a road block that you are unable to solve with logic, or trial and error.
The way you seek out this information is not by wasting hours and hours with books or watching videos, it's with Ai. That's the most time efficient way to get past your immediate stumbling block.
How to get past your stumbling block with Ai:
Momentum
We're afraid of failure. We're afraid of rejection. We're afraid of challenge.
Jumping immediately gives us momentum, and "failure" and "rejection" is part of the self correcting mechanisms that give us skills.
It's all part of the process. What we need is momentum, moving towards or goals, and we should cherish this momentum. What we don't need is more "practice" and "reading" or any other kind of pain avoidance because those allow our competition to get ahead.
Because they are like weighted shoes that we are told will allow us to run faster, but are far inferior shoes to the "just in time learning with Ai" shoes. Put on the "Just in time learning with Ai" (and your own problem solving) and have a better chance at winning the race.
