I don't understand how accutane is making me shed 200+ hairs a day. My luck is absolutely shit tier. Literally my hair is what is keeping me a low tier normie, and without it I will turn into a trucel. Some days I don't think about the amount of hair I'm losing, and other days I get super depressed about it. If I ever recover from this shit, either through medicaiton or just waiting, I will surely donate 10% of all my income to hairloss foundations becuase now I know how tough this is for everyone who loses hair.

I'm visiting a derm tomorrow morning to hopefully get a biopsy to get diagnosed with something, but I'm starting to think the hairloss will have no identifiable cause, purely caused by accutane.

Sidenote- I've been off accutane for 3 months, jfl at people commenting "get off accutane"

I am brah, I am doing EVERYTHING. Low vitamin A diet, no carbs, no fruits, taking an immuno suppressor medication, using steroidal shampoo

I think autoimmunity is playing a role, my theory is that accutane triggered some sort of diffuse alopecia areata, and this is supported with plenty of studies done on how excess vitamin A can trigger autoimmune issues

It takes years to detox yourself from that vitamin a toxicity, no?

Google "posture and balding"
It happened within a week jfl, I began losing 200+ hairs a day four months into accutane. It has nothing to due with my posture, in fact my hairline is still Norwood zero and juvenile looking

In my opinion that entire school of thought is outdated, people on acne.org believe that all the vitamin A is ridden from the body only 1 month after accutane. So I'm sticking to my belief that my hairloss is autoimmune related :feelshah::feelshah:

Just stop using accutane then srs. Find another medication asap if your acne is that bad. Have you tried just washing your face 2 times daily with mild soap and showering once every day?

Nobody should take accutane. It's literally chemotherapy tier drug. The amount of possible side effects and their severity is staggering.

Ok stop accutane

I've been off for 3 months, obviously I've stopped. The issue is the hairloss is getting worse
You fucked your hormones, check which ones with your doctor I guess, or research the reasons accutane causes hairloss, because it does and idk why

It causes hairloss due to it triggering diffuse alopecia areata, or even Lichen Planopilaris.

That doesnt explain anything, research which hormones caused this and how you can reverse that, or suffer the same fate as balding men, every single balding man wants his hair back, every single one.

Wdym, that explains everything. Accutane can triggered autoimmunity, in my case it triggered diffuse alopecia areata. An autoimmune condition. I need heavy immuno-suppressants to stop it. Hormones didn't cause this.

Ok just do something about it lol

Bro I am doing something idiot, I'm taking tofacitinib (highly potent immuno-suppressant) to combat this. Finding a source for this medicaiton was fucking hard

If I succeed with my autoimmune theory, I will be the first person to ever solve this. And it will be a game changer for people with post finasteride Syndrome as well.

Damn I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Honestly fuck this gay earth.

How are you going to treat it if you don't mind me asking? Name of the medicines and the process etc

Currently on 15mg tofacitinib a day. Also using a strong topical steroid that I'm applying on my scalp. Once again, this is all under the assumption that it is autoimmune, but I'm fairly confident it is due to intense itching and redness of the scalp.

Most Normies with this issue think it is "Telogen Effluvium", then wonder where all their hair went a few years down the line

SuiFuel, mine also has effects on my brain but due to huge cortisol spikes and a resulting depression from all this shit :lul: :lul: :lul: . My only cope is that I'm atleast trying medicaiton to fix it
