i felt the same, and then u get used to it. money means nothing to me now.

i never spent any of it, i never lived a rich-person life. I am just a broke-student gambling in his dorm-room. Sometimes making half a million, sometimes losing half a million, at the peak.

In the end I lived the same life, whether I had 350k+ net or I was down deep -100k in debt. I still lived the same life regardless. This helps manage the stress when nothing really changes except a number on your screen.

I am still trying to separate my finances from the rest of my life though. Like separating my self-esteem and feeling from how my investment portfolio is doing, this is still a struggle but it's going better the more ups and downs you go through.

That first 350k I lost? I spent 2 years gambling hard to get it back, I kept losing everything again and again. It gave me a hard lesson. I then stopped hard-gambling and started investing again more conservatively, got back to 120k, lost 95k with trump-tarrifwar, but still have 25k.

i will make it back its just numbers on a screen. I am still the same guy chilling in my dorm and living the same life.

lost over 20k € on gambling and Im not even counting the lottery that I used to play for 6 years every week so possibly 25-30k.

Just dont get into debt, I had too much money as a young adult and the dopamine of winning 2k from slots or blackjack was way better than being on drugs and fucking hookers

I lost most of that moeny in a span of few months while doing drugs hookers and online gambling at the same time but again I never had any debt but I definitely regret the amount of money Ive lost so I just stopped doing it a year ago
