What's the best crypto desktop wallet to use? I downloaded one and luckily before buying BTC I found out it's not even stored independently or whatever the fuck - and if they fail they'll take it down with them kind of thing. What's your advice tech-cel? Edit: desktop for laptop only i don't want to buy btc using an app on my phone, pls.

I use Exodus. If you hold larger amounts buy a Nano Ledger S and write down the keys.

I doubt I'll need Nano Ledger - this is just for buying shit off the dark web like steroids - if I wanted to invest it'd be in Amazon/Uber or some globo homo shit corporation that'll guarantee long term faggot returns that'll leave me poor but thinking I'm getting richer. I don't have the guts to invest in weird shit because I'm clueless. Look: you know your shit and STILL fucked your crypto up so what chance do I have??? No chance at all.

No offense mate but do you seriously think I could predict a global recession was going to hit the world? And Putin attacking Ukraine? That’s mainly why the value of every crypto, stock and market tanked.

I did invest in a couple of shitcoins back in 2017 and had gains on a couple of coins tho, nothing too major, a couple of grand because I didn’t put in much.

Investing during recession could be smart. I am no expert on stocks tho and haven’t done much research lately. General rule here would be buy low sell high, but it’s hard to predict the rock bottom since it made sense to me to buy AVAX (crypto coin) at 23 $ once it dropped from 128 $’s high last year to 23 $. Seems like a great fucking investment if the tech behing the coin is good right? Well, I was wrong. Today AVAX is trading at 17 $.

Never even heard of avax. Like I said I know fuck all. Sorry to hear for your losses and thanks so much for your help though. I hope one day you land lucky. I've heard of 17 year olds that started bitcoin in the early days and are multi-millionaires now. I wish I was tech savvy back then instead of partying, drinking and drugging it away.
