The modern society, and every society that came before it, were, and are, in fact made up of made up things.
Making shit up isn't just a theory, nor is it a lifestyle, it is the base of everything that we know of. "The truth" as some people call it, is made up but it's not untrue, it is just made up, but it is in fact the truth.
Now, you're probably asking:
"Why is the truth subjective sometimes/ most of the time? "
Well, my son, that proves my theory. The sheer existence of anything that has ever been, can be perceived as a proof of the make shit up theory. In fact, even the make shit up theory, is made up. It is not even a theory, it's a feature. It's what keeps "this" going, literally and figuratively.
