Just received tretinoine, what tips do you guys have?

I just received my first tretinoine tube from a vendor. What are the best ways to apply tret? and what are some good tisp to limit the purge and not fuck myself up?

purge is so overestimated. their is a good chance you might not even purge at all. i started tret a few weeks ago and the purging was nowhere as fucking bad people described it. literally the smallest pimples on a few areas ive never gotten acne before

use vaseline/aquaphor in areas you dont want to be dry after moisturizing like the corners of your nose, mouth, eyes, etc as tret is very drying. also always wear sunscreen ofc

after cleansing and mosturizing and applying your vaseline, wait until your face is completely dry before applying tret

apply a pea size amount evenly all over your face avoiding being too close to areas like your eyes and lips.

thanks buddy boyo, tret is holy lifefuel atm for me aswell. can it remove dark circles aswell near my eye are or should i just avoid my whole eye area?

yes it can help with dark circles but just try to avoid your eye area. the tretinoin will migrate to your dark circles anyway.

if you do it right next to your eyes it will make them very dry

ohh alright, yea my friend applied it near his eyes and it fucked up his eyes pretty bad. it went back to normal after a while tho cus he realised themistake

it makes your skin more sensative to UV damage so wear sunscreen and put on bluelight blocker setting
