Caught a very bad cold about a month back (or it was COVID, dunno for sure).
Usually when I catch a cold, most symptoms are gone within a few days, all symptoms gone within a week. This time I had a very slight cough for a good 3 weeks straight (as in I had to clear my throat), which made my voice sound deeper.
Now a good 6 weeks later and the cough is gone, but my voice is still audibly deeper. I'm almost certain my voicebox has been damaged somehow and not sure what the implications will be later in life... but god damn am I voicemaxxed because of it.
