It’s 13th in my official ranking. But then again I’ve yet to watch a lot of tarantino movies along with many other classics from pre-90s so I’ll probably have it around 19 or 20 when I’m done watching those other movies

Start with Alfred hitchcock movies if you wanna get appreciation for early cinema and master filmmaking. He’s not for adhd ridden zoomers that need 50 action sequences every sec( just FYI).
For actual enjoyment binge watch anything Tarantino. Almost all his movies are fucking 10/10.

Obv Steven Spielberg is on the Mount Rushmore but his work is very mainstream.

Martin Scorsese. Older Classics

Guillermo del toro movies. Super underrated

Stanley Kubrick. For the mindfuck
