Jaw jutting will not move the hyoid bone up, so submental is better after BSSO

I have giga narrow palate and wide head should I get mse just for wider smile and might need it to get braces coz my incisors are behind my front teeth

also last question I’ve noticed people wide compact midface but recessed jaws, I thought recessed jaws means long midface or is recession and downward growth diffrent

downward growth is 2 kind:
Jaw grow downward
Your total face grow downward

When ur total face grow downward each point get moved so u can have a compact midface and not necessarily a long face

If your mandibule is good but your maxilla don't fit then MSE alone will fix it without the need of lefort 1

I believe it does , when you're juttin your hyoid muscles are mores stiff , meaning the hyoid hat be raised
