There was a quote by the legendary figure named Kanye West. In his 2010 classic “My beautiful dark twister fantasy”, he said someone along the lines of

“The plan was to drink until the pain over
But what's worse, the pain or the hangover?”

Kanye is trying to tell you how giving into your vices whether it be porn, being lazy, eating shit food, being negative or rude, drugs, being undisciplined etc is ALWAYS worse than just toughing out your pain. It’s never worth it and you WILL always feel like shit if you give into your demons. And when you feel like shit, you don’t want to looksmax. If this was easy, everyone would be chad. But just based on the fact that you’re here on this website and reading this shows that you desire improvement. You have to kept moving forwards and never back. Kanye west is renowned for being based and pissing liberal agenda off so these lyrics are aimed at us to self improve, or atleast that’s how I perceive it. It’s time to ascend, days aren’t guaranteed.

But still look at where he is now. The fame and wealth he has means he doesn't even need to live in the real world or work actual jobs, or deal with people he doesn't want to deal with. He can do literally anything he wants for the rest of his life. Someone like that telling people like us to "not give in to our vices" is just ridiculous when we are the ones that will have to slave through reality.
