the midface isn't actually getting any longer from cw. midface length is an intrinsic features of your skull and soft tissue, moving the maxilla up or down doesn't affect it by a large margin

CW is not really causal to maxillary gains, I personally got 10 more mm of maxillary projection while getting 6 degrees of CCW rotation.
