Has anyone here done a keratin treatment, if so would you reccomend going to a salon is it worth the extra money, and do you have before and after pics

No because it will look weird as shit when your hair starts growing back. Don't get it jfl it's just expensive and you'll regret it.

But my hair doesnt match my pheno tbh. Is there mo decent way to go from curly to wavy hair

Hey i just did one today. I got a cheap $25 thing on amazon. still have enough to do it like 6 more times, but it allegedly lasts 3 months. i have really shitty frizzy hair as its miniaturized from balding. your two options with my hair type are to use leave in conditioner and make it curly or use keratin and make it less frizzy and straight. here are my results:

i think it looks way healthier. i considered making a thread on this but last time i made a thread trying to give advice i got attacked so just posting this here to help u

not sure, sorry. i think how straight it ends up depends on how much you flat iron it (i jad to do each spot about 10 times i a row before moving to the next spot) so i figure you could just stop before its fully straight if you want to leave some wave, or flat iron it a lot more than i did if you want it fully straight

took me like 20 something minutes but my sides and back are buzzed so i only had to do the top

if it makes you feel that more confident good for you man but you should’ve tried growing your hair out and used better curl products and maybe your hair wouldn’t be so frizzy, i can give you advice on what products to use if you’d be open to it.
