I would like to discuss ketamine and its use in various dance scenes. I used to think it was garbage for dance and still prefer other substances, mainly MDMA, LSD, Alcohol, etc.. But K has grown on me in recent years for dancing.
I really enjoy the way I move while on it, in this glitchy somewhat drunkenly falling yet still precise movements.
Racemic ketamine is the best, S-K can get too wonky/sedating and R-K is too light. Mixed with MDMA and/or LSD makes for a hell of a night cutting rugs. I usually save it for when I’m already some hours into an event, and my body is sore but I’m not ready to be done.
