Her video can be summarised as "these men want casual sex, not a relationship". While I can understand this assumption, she uses the logic that because her profile states "she is looking for something casual" this is why she has so many matches. Now with that being said, using her logic -> if we had used "something serious" as her tag, she should get CONSIDERABLY LESS matches.
However what kidology doesn't seem to realise is the mass swiping nature of the app, newsflash - most men aren't reading your bio when they swipe. Most men read the bio AFTER they get a match -> so it wouldn't make a difference to the number of likes you get jfl.
It makes me laugh that she says that it's because of the lack of quality partners it is why she is celibate. Now lets just pause for a second. What sort of qualities is she looking for?
She claims to want a man who is going to make her feel safe, be kind, she goes onto talk about how looks isn't the only thing. It's the whole 2d vs 3d idea, the idea that attraction is so multi-variant, that a dating app couldn't possibly express all these wonderful qualities that men possess.
Yet there is a flaw here.
My interpretation of her argument (feel free to disagree/correct me if I am wrong) is this :- I am celibate because I find it hard to find a partner, I want a partner who possess certain qualities such as being kind, making me feel safe and so on.
Her issue therefore with dating apps is that she is unable to discern whether a potential match just wants sex and if they are safe or not.
This sounds reasonable right?
To an extent yes. But kidology forgets that there is something called DATES. YES YOU FUCKING IDIOT DATES. THE WHOLE POINT OF GOING ON A DATE LIKE A COFFEE DATE IS TO KNOW WHAT THE PERSON IS LIKE AND IF THEIR GOALS MATCH WITH YOURS. YOU FUCKING MORON YOU SAID IT YOURSELF, A DATING APP CAN ONLY GIVE YOU A LIMITED PERSPECTIVE -> THAT IS WHY YOU MEET THESE MEN AND GO ON A DATE.
Ofc kidology never fucking mentions this because it would destroy her entire argument that these men are only there for sex and nothing else. Why don't you actually just create a dating profile, swipe, go on a few dates and then decide to carry on dating the person you like? You are aware dating isn't meant to be that easy, you as a woman have to at least put SOME work in.
Men have it easy, they just have to be low bodyfat% year round, have hobbies, a good job, be tall, and be athletic. God forbid the struggle and agony it takes for a woman to go out and get a fucking cup of coffee with a man.
