Long story short, I got a full wrap around jaw and cheekbone implant by a famous surgeon who recently lost his license. The surgery took 12 hours and at one point they almost rushed me to the emergency room because my heart rate was extremely high and would not lower

The first two weeks of recovery were probably the most physically painful moments of my life - turns out the right cheekbone implant had been infected.

I get it removed and even then I get the infection again, puss started coming out of the corner of my eye like crazy. Now I have a gash next to my eye that’s pretty large.

By this point I’ve spent at least 45k on hotels flights surgery etc so when he promised to replace the implant for free I was happy. (I had to wait 8 months basically hidden away because I only had a cheekbone on my left side of my face that whole time)

He replaces it finally, he offered to fix my right and left eye because after he placed the cheekbone implants he didn’t stitch my eyes how they used to be and they were droopy.

After the last visit he couldn’t remove a stitch from left eye (the perfectly healthy one) and says it’ll fall off in a few months - it didn’t and I have a gash now. My right eye looks a little better but it is still droopy and he left a stitch there too.

It’s been 10 months, my “healthy” left eye has a yellow ball forming where the stitch is still and my right eye still has the stitch. I’m going have to spend more money getting a third surgery to fix my eyes which sucks at least I’m alive.

The right cheekbone implant, that has caused my eye to get cut open three times in the span of a year and a half is malplaced in my opinion. Everything is symmetrical but where the implant meet my nose, it is raised up and you can see it, not like my left side. It leaves a strong shadow and I can physically press down on it and feel it rest on the bone, meaning it’s bent up.

This has probably been the worst year and a half of my life, my face has permanent scars and I’m down over 50 grand.

I have to have my eye surgery in Turkey bc I’ve already spent so much.

Should I replace both cheekbone implants? Should I see a specialist who can cut me open and fix the edge he didn’t tuck in? I’m really lost and I could use some actual advice.

Here’s pics of the implant and of the scars in my eye area for whoever is curious

Why would you go to "famous surgeons"? I am telling you average "board certified surgeon" has an IQ of a chimp. They have skills on par to nyc subway crackheads. You need to select the right surgeon, someone who is willing to take risks and have an aesthetic eye.

I really wish you regain your health and become a chad! In case you become deformed and decide to rope and join the caravan of martrys, make sure to pay a visit to the idiot surgeon who crippled you!

You’re definitely right, I should have done even more research and that’s on me. I had seen he was a prominent figure for Harvards school of medicine and that he was one of the top surgeons that did this procedure, so I foolishly let my guard down.

I really appreciate your kind words in a time like this, I will keep everyone updated on what I end up doing.

Have a great week

I’m so so sorry. That sounds incredibly painful, and i hope you get a chance to recover.

You are clearly asian, so i want to know, why did you get cheekbone implants and go in the direction of being chad when you could’ve k-pop maxxed, and enjoyed teen girl appeal here and in japan/korea?

If you went to a good filler injector, it would give your cheekbones the shape you wanted and it wouldn't migrate. Fillers can now last up to 2 years. If you have gigarecessed infras, you can solve it with fat grafting. Don't get implants, guys.

Honestly bro I’m a mutt, Argentinian with another Caribbean Latin country and a Japanese great grandmother. That being said people think I’m Asian or Mexican, so I really did not know what look to go for

My advice:

Find great surgeon in Europe or USA and pay for consultations, surgeons in Italy are great as Well, but try to look Up good names in this community

Tell them your entire STORY and photos and let THEM help you, ask them questions, ask them what could be done, ...

Do not go for another surgeon, let alone in fucking Turkey, no 3rd world countries man

At least pay 100-200€/$ for 1 hour of their time, ask 2-3 surgeons and decide afrerwards

They might see easier and cheaper solution you cannot see yourself

Also sorry to hear you have pain and problems bro, do you think you improved psl-wise?

dude, we all know which 3 surgeons you're referring to, probably the only ones you're even aware of.

woah, dude, i wonder what they would find if they looked up good names in this community, could it be those same 3 surgeons?

Can you please explain - I am planning to get double jaw surgery followed by mid face, infra and supra orbital rim implants, can you explain why you don't like the idea of implants? And share sources if you can?

Can I message you? Considering removing the cheek implants because I essentially starved my self the past three months and lost 20 pounds yet my face looks extremely bloated.

Went from 172lbs at 6’0 to 150lbs and pretty low body fat, 10% I’d say, I can see my ribs and abs

No, i meant that he should search for the best ones in his field and do consultation with them, not procedure, just so that he knows his options

What’s up bro can I message you just to get an opinion if they look bad or not?

„3. world turkey“, yet regarding to facial surgery’s they mostly perform better than most other ones. These thing came out of my mouth aswell, but you have to be honest that they have plenty of good jobs done.

Never had heart issues in my entire life. Always been fit and worked out. I did take a light dose of the sarm lgd a couple of years prior to that (yes I’m an idiot). I also smoked the devils lettuce up until a few months before the surgery. Could have definitely been one of those factors. Other than that my heart feels healthy, I don’t smoke or drink

They don't, i'd say that Turkey is like factory for plastic surgeries, if you want factory "turkish nose", "hair transplant", ... They would do it good, but if you want anything 'customized' they will most likely make it similiar to blueprint, that is why male rhino in Turkey sucks

I'm sorry to hear all of this man, hope you can eventually sort it all out.

But there is one thing that I really wanted to ask you: if you could redo it completely, what would you do? Not get surgeries at all? Go with another surgeon? Not do all implants at once?
