Knowing it’s temp., would you go 3-6 months with only 1 side of jaw implant?

The situation is: one part (left side) of the inside of your mouth has a small hole and your implant on that side needs to be temporarily removed for about 3-6 months so that this area can heal; then you can try to place it again.

(I won’t say it’s guaranteed to work but highly likely and your surgeon highly favors this approach as opposed to removing both Jaw implants and then reinserting both: I.e. less surgery and scar tissue for you/don’t fix what isn’t broken scenario)

Would you move through life temporarily with a jaw implant on only one side? (would also appreciate your responses to supplement your answers, if possible).

Yes.

Just add filler to the other side until you have the implant on that side installed.

Use the right kind of temporary filler that can be dissolved immediately if need be

Absolutely. You don't want to be cutting into the other side twice again just for the sake of short term symmetry. If someone asks about it just say you had a wisdom tooth removed or something, people don't know what they're looking at anyway.

The only exception is if you're planning to remove both sides and NOT replace them.

Also stay positive man. I know it's tough especially since general anesthesia fucks with your mind for a few weeks post op, but keep it clean stay on the antibiotic regimen and take in lots of protein for healing purposes

TBH guys ... I’ve also been contemplating removing both and then going back to Y. for silicone

Listen ... (and this is common sense but not talked about here) but recovery is NOT cool .. it’s not a small wave you’re really riding on a TIDAL and you can get WRECKED .... ANYBODY (don’t just assume that I’m some outlier).

Half of my looksmax brothers have been in or are currently dealing with complications.... READ THAT AGAIN

Consider your choices carefully or you could be consumed in an endless cycle of chaos.

The first question is something you’d get a better answer from if you asked it in Real Self.

And you want Hyaluronic acid fillers.
They can be dissolved using Hyaluronidase.
Try to find a filler doctor who uses cannulae instead of needles
